Those looking for Valentine’s Day plans can find entertainment and a gift for their sweetheart tonight at Java 101, 901 Lucinda Ave.

The evening will kick off at 7 p.m. with a fashion show featuring clothes by Street Knowledge Designs.

The 15-minute show will feature T-shirts showing designs of empowerment, politics and social essence.

“It’s another representation of the fashionably educated,” said Kyle McGee, head designer of SKD.

The T-shirts have pictures and quotes by famous people, as well as original designs by McGee.

SKD also will showcase their Valentine’s Day T-shirts, which don the SKD logo along with a heart. All T-shirts cost $15.

SKD’s spring line, featuring a variety of apparels, will be released in April.

This event will mark the first time a fashion show will take place at Java 101, said owner Michael FitzGerald.

“I thought it might be interesting for the Valentine’s Day party,” FitzGerald said.

A jazz band will play after the fashion show.
