University Police arrested three suspects after a spree of car burglaries early Thursday morning in the parking lots of NIU’s west campus.

UP apprehended the suspects just before 3 a.m. Thursday and the suspects were taken to the DeKalb County Jail.

Anthony A. Hill, 18, of Matteson; Aaron L. Williams, 19, of Crete; and Anthony J. Wright, 19, of Richton Park; were charged with multiple counts of burglary to a motor vehicle. All three were held at the jail pending a bond hearing.

Police said car sound equipment was the main target of the break-ins.
