Weekly weather update for March 1

DeKALB – The week of March 1 is going to be mostly sunny and cold, with temperatures hitting the 40s most days, according to the National Weather Service.

Monday

Monday will be mostly sunny with a high of 32 degrees with winds speeds from 5 to 10 mph. Monday night will be clear with a low around 11 degrees.

Tuesday

Tuesday will be sunny with a high of 41 degrees, but wind chill values will approach zero as speeds hit 15 mph in the afternoon. Tuesday night will be clear with a low around 28 degrees.

Wednesday

Wednesday will be mostly sunny with a high near 45 degrees and north by northwest winds at speeds from 5 to 10 mph. Wednesday night will be mostly clear with a low of 26 degrees.

Thursday

Thursday be sunny with a high near 43 degrees. The night will see temperatures drop to a low of 25 degrees, while the sky will remain mostly clear.

Friday

Friday will remain sunny with a similar high of 44 degrees. Temperatures will again drop to a low of about 26 degrees overnight.

Saturday

Saturday will be sunny with a high near 42 degrees and a low of about 27 degrees overnight.

Sunday

Sunday is expected to be mostly sunny with a daytime high of 46 degrees.
