American Red Cross celebrates National Volunteer Month with giveaways

DeKALB – In honor of National Volunteer Month in April, American Red Cross of Illinois is automatically entering any person who donates blood in an e-gift card giveaway until April 30.
There is a chance to win one of five $1,000 e-gift cards to a merchant of choice, according to the American Red Cross website.
American Red Cross is also partnering with Indy Car, an auto racing body that features racing at a combination of superspeedways, short ovals, road courses and temporary street circuits, to send one donor and three friends to the 2022 Indianapolis 500, a 500-mile autobody race, from May 27 to May 30, according to Red Cross’s website. This giveaway is going on until April 15.
The winner of the Indy 500 giveaway will also receive a $500 gift card for expenses on the trip.
Donors will be entered in both giveaways until April 15.
