DeKALB — Saturday’s Mid-American Conference matchup between NIU and the Ohio University Bobcats has been pushed back from Saturday to Sunday.

NIU Athletics pinpoints issues in travel related to recent weather as the driving force in the decision to postpone Saturday’s game, according to a Friday NIU Athletics news release. The Huskies left Ohio’s home court in their most recent meeting earlier this season with a narrow 71-68 win on Jan. 8.

NIU heads into its second clash with Ohio sporting an overall record of 8-11 and one win away from a .500 record in conference play, currently sitting at 5-6. The Bobcats head to DeKalb looking to shake a two-game losing stretch and improve on their 11-7 overall record and 5-4 record against MAC foes.

The game will maintain a start time of 1 p.m. and is set to be played at the Convocation Center in DeKalb. The contest will be broadcast on ESPN3 or ESPN+.
