Sexual assault reported

University Police Lt. Matthew Kiederlen confirmed Wednesday that there was a sexual assault reported in an NIU residence hall.

The Northern Star received an anonymous tip regarding a sexual assault in Grant Towers over the weekend. Kiederlen could not comment on the status of the report, saying only it is under investigation.

More information will be released as it becomes available.
