Tyler Murray, Sports Reporter
Tyler Murray is a sophomore at NIU majoring in communications and hopes to get a major in Spanish.
He joined the Star in the fall 2022 semester as a sports reporter for the football beat, handling pregame interviews, features and columns.
Besides writing for the Star, Tyler plays on the club lacrosse team at NIU. He is New York born and raised and spends most of his time cheering on the New York Yankees or the Buffalo Bills. When he’s not watching the Bills, he is jumping through tables or eating chicken wings with bleu cheese, the only right way to do it.
