DeKalb City Council updates residency requirements for department heads

First Ward Alderman Bertrand Simpson speaks in support of Ordinance 11-02 at Monday's city council meeting. The ordinance would change residency requirements for employees and officials, allowing non-DeKalb residents to hold jobs as department heads. The city is still attempting to fill the Public Works Director's position.
