DeKalb resident, Jose Rosas, participates in the fun by testing out a kite in the sky at Kite Fest on Sunday.

The Rev. Jesse Jackson was welcomed by students, administrators and faculty of NIU inside the Sandburg Auditorium on Tuesday. Jackson brought emphasis in saying, “This land is our land, it was made for all of us”. This message carried through the entire day as the exhibit touched on many social injustices, current events and politics.
