Green Lens Environmental Film Festival now accepting submissions

NIU will host the third-annual Green Lens Environmental Film Festival in celebration of Earth Day.

The festival will run from April 20 to 25. The purpose of the event is to spur and encourage interest in environmental sustainable living. This year’s theme is Our Planet in Focus.

Cash prizes will be awarded in the following categories: Best Narrative Short, Best Documentary Short, Best Student Film and Audience Choice.

All festival films must be 30 minutes long or less and they must be submitted no later than April 1. A fee is required for submission.

Films can be turned in at www.withoutabox.com/login/12331. Film information and an online press pack must be included. DVDs can be mailed to 307 Lowden Hall.
