  • Spring Dance Concert: The 2024-2025 production season concludes with the annual Spring Dance Concert featuring the talented dancers of the School of Theatre and Dance performing a variety of styles of dance. The concert will be at 7:30 p.m. in the Black Box Theatre, Stevens Building. $20, $18 seniors and staff, $12 non-NIU students, NIU students no charge with advanced ticket reservation

  • Proxima Centauri Alpha Balloon Launch: Proxima Centauri Alpha, a student organization that helps STEM students network with faculty researchers and provides research opportunities, will launch a weather balloon at Huskie Stadium at 10 a.m. Opening remarks will begin at about 9:20 a.m. The event is open to the public. It also counts as an honors student engagement activity.
