Instructor of Trombone Timothy Riordan conducts the NIU Trombone Choir’s second piece, “Tenebrae Factae Sunt,” composed by Marc’ Antonio Ingegneri, who lived from 1535 to 1592. “Tenebrae Factae Sunt” translates to “darkness has been made” and is about the gospels of the crucifixion.
