Street Interviews: Do you use Huskie Hub?
DeKALB – Huskie Hub, the online platform for student organizations on campus, is accessible as an app. Student organizations can post notices about upcoming-events, communicate with their members and much more. However, while many students find the Hub to be a useful idea, they were previously unaware of its existence!

Lucy Atkinson is a junior from Anchorage, Alaska, double majoring in journalism and earth, atmosphere and environment with an emphasis in earth and planetary science. She first joined the Northern Star in the fall of 2022 and previously served as the opinion editor. In her free time, Lucy enjoys reading, going for runs, playing piano and collecting notes on Illinois’s beautiful flora and fauna.

Sean Reed is the photo editor for the Northern Star. They are a junior at NIU majoring in journalism.
Sean joined the Star during the Fall 2021 semester as a photographer, before becoming the multimedia editor for the 2022-2023 school year.
Outside of the Star, Sean spends their free time listening to music, cooking and spending time with friends.
