Spring break, unfortunately, came to a close Sunday, pulling many students away from their relaxing time away from campus.
Ranging from visiting friends to catching up on schoolwork, students provided their thoughts on what they were most looking forward to over spring break.
Jonathan Venecia, a senior psychology major, visited Michigan over spring break.
Q: “Do you have any exciting plans for spring break?”
A: “I’m going to Michigan with my family over spring break.”
Q: “Where in Michigan?”
A: “I’m not really sure. We’re just kind of going up there to go hiking, and eat out and spend time together.”
Brandion Morris, a first-year dance major, visited Chicago over spring break.
Q: “Do you have any exciting plans for spring break?”
A: “Yes. I’m going down to the City of Chicago, like actually, inside of the city over spring break on Tuesday. The weather’s going to be really good. You should go outside as well.”
Q: “What are you going to do in Chicago?”
A: “I’m not sure yet. It’s kind of, like, an open book, but I’m definitely going to be outside.”
Nathan Sanluecha, a senior health sciences major, worked over spring break.
Q: “Do you have any exciting plans for spring break?”
A: “Not really. I’m just going to work and rest up, you know, make some more money with the time I have.”
Vanessa Gatza, a sophomore mechanical engineering major, had an exam during spring break.
Q: “Do you have any exciting plans for spring break?”
A: “I’m going to be studying because I have an exam in the middle of spring break.”
Klara Oresek, a first-year business management major, visited friends over spring break.
Q: “Do you have any exciting plans for spring break?”
A: “Yeah. I’m so excited. I’m going to go to Chicago to see my friends, go out a bit and just have fun.”
Julian Pagan, a sophomore accountancy major, caught up on schoolwork over break.
Q: “Do you have any exciting plans for spring break?”
A: Yes. I’m excited to finally get my life together and catch up on some schoolwork, as lame as it sounds.”
