NIU football (2-4, 1-1 MAC) will take on the Ohio University Bobcats (5-1, 2-0 MAC) Saturday in its 116th homecoming. The Huskies are looking for a second consecutive conference victory after the offense exploded for a 55-14 win over the University of Akron. Ohio comes into Saturday’s game riding a five game win streak and has yet to allow more than 20 points in a game this season.

NIU volleyball returns to DeKalb for its Homecoming Week series against Eastern Michigan. The Huskies come home with a 4-2 MAC record after splitting last weekend’s road trip to Ohio. The two-match series will be a battle of first-year head coaches, with Sondra Parys’ Huskies taking on Kevin Foeman’s Eagles.

After finishing tied for ninth place at the Badger Invitational, NIU men’s golf heads to West Lafayette, Indiana, to compete in the Purdue Fall Invitational. Junior Felix Krammer logged NIU’s best finish, good enough to earn MAC Co-Golfer of the Week. The Purdue Fall Invitational is an all-day event that starts Monday and ends on Tuesday.

NIU Hockey returns home after three weeks on the road to take on the defending Midwest College Hockey champions University of Jamestown. In the teams’ last meeting last season, Jamestown defeated NIU 15-2. NIU will be in search of its first win of the season this weekend.

NIU women’s golf travels to Florida International University for its fourth tournament of the 2023-2024 season on Saturday, an all day tournament which runs from Saturday to Monday. Senior Jasmine Ly earned MAC Golfer of the Week for her performance in the Johnie Imes Invitational and looks to continue to lead the Huskies at FIU.
