Last week was the first week of the fall semester, and Huskie students and faculty alike braved sweltering weather.
Trekking across campus with a heavy backpack and five minutes until your next class can work up a sweat on an average day, but the blazing sun had lots of us feeling like the Wicked Witch of the West.
Thankfully, many students on campus have upheld positive attitudes despite the heat, and no one’s turned into a puddle – yet.

Q: “How have you been managing the heat on campus?”

Q: “On a scale from one to ten, how melted do you feel when you’re outside?”
A: “I would say, like, Monday, Tuesday I was at like a 10. I felt like I was melting down in. But like, it’s been, it’s been dropping the number, feeling like an eight maybe, maybe seven?”
