The situation concerning the termination of Martha Palmer is terrible. Ms. Palmer’s attributes to the NIU community are great. Her dedication to the students is outstanding. She is a very caring person who goes out of her way to help not just students but everyone in whatever way she can. She takes time out to listen whenever there is a problem or if there isn’t.

I am very hurt that Ms. Palmer’s position still has not been reinstated. I guess you really don’t see what a wonderful, helpful and outstanding person we are losing. I am making a personal plea, and I think I speak for all of her supporters, please reconsider the termination of this great woman and let her stay right where she belongs, here at NIU.
