DeKALB | President Doug Baker announced at a 9 a.m. Board of Trustees that he will resign June 30.

“I believe this course of action is best for our university,” Baker said. 

This announcement comes after the Executive Ethics Commission released the Office of Executive Inspector General’s final report regarding a two-year investigation into NIU’s procurement and hiring practices on May 31.
