Softball freshman pitcher Keegan Hayes earned MAC West Pitcher of the Week honors, the conference announced today.

Hayes posted a 4-1 record with a 0.72 ERA in 29.1 innings throughout six appearances, including five starts, this past week in Florida.

The weekly conference honor is the first of Hayes’ career. She is the second Huskie to be recognized with a weekly MAC award this season as sophomore first baseman Kayti Grable earned the MAC West Player of the Week award on Feb. 10.
