Lesley Rigg, vice president for Research and Innovation Partnerships, is accepting nominations and applications until Oct. 13 for the 2015 Presidential Research Professorships.

Up to three professorships are awarded to recognize faculty member accomplishment and potential in academic research, scholarship or artistry.

Professors who are awarded with a professorship receive a base salary increase of $2,000 and an allocation of $5,000 to support their scholarly activities, with stipulations.

Nomination letters may be submitted by current or retired faculty members from any department at NIU. The letters can be forwarded to Rigg at [email protected].
