New businesses set to take over former Lukolos lot

The former Lukulos location, 1101 W. Lincoln Highway, will see new tenants by the end of 2013, according to a City Council resolution passed at its Dec. 10 meeting.

The lot is currently owned by Pearl Street Commercial, LLC, and an application has been filed and approved by the Council to begin developing the location to house a two- or three-tenant building. The first tenant in the building will be a Dunkin’ Donuts/Baskin-Robbins combination store with a drive-through.

First ward Alderman David Jacobson said in a phone interview that the second tenant for the building would likely be Jersey Mike’s Subs, and that the developers were aiming to have the building re-opened in fall 2013.
