City blotter for 10/27/11

The following was taken directly from area police and fire department records, or from DeKalb County court records. Anyone mentioned is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Tuesday

  • At 10:31 a.m., a DeKalb County Sheriff’s deputy performed a traffic stop on a vehicle at the intersection of University Road and Keslinger Road for improper lane usage. The deputy found the passenger in the vehicle, Lindsay M. Price, 19, of DeKalb, was wanted on a juvenile warrant from DeKalb Coutny for residential burglary. Price was arrested and transported to DeKalb County Jail.

Wednesday

  • At 12:54 a.m., DeKalb Police checked the license plate of a vehicle in the 1000 block of Blackhawk Road. The officer found the registered owner, Chiquita T. Fulton, 25, of DeKalb, was wanted on a Failure to Appear warrant for driving with a suspended license. The officer performed a traffic stop and confirmed Fulton was driving. Fulton was arrested and taken to the DeKalb Police Station. She was later released on bond.
