Police Report: Jan. 27 to Feb. 2

Jan. 27

1. At 5:51 p.m. Dec. 22, deceptive practices were reported to have occurred at 20 N. 4179th Road, Mendota. This case was suspended Jan. 27.

2. At 11 p.m., possession of cannabis 30 grams and under and possession of drug equipment were reported to have occurred at Neptune North. This case was closed by exception.

Jan. 28

3. At 2:26 p.m., a bomb threat was reported to have occurred at the Psychology/Computer Science Building. This case was suspended.

4. At 4:14 a.m., Jeffrey Coffey, 25, of Chicago, was charged with possession of cannabis 30 grams and under and criminal trespassing to state supported land reported to have occurred at Stevenson North.

Jan. 29

5. At 8 p.m. Dec. 7, residential burglary was reported to have occurred at Grant North. This case was suspended Jan. 29.

6. At 6:15 p.m. Jan. 19, burglary from a motor vehicle and criminal damage to property was reported to have occurred at Lot W. This case was suspended Jan. 29.

7. At 10 p.m., Maurice Johnson Jr., 19, of Chicago, was charged with illegal possession of alcohol by a minor reported to have occurred at Lundeen’s Discount Liquors, 1030 Arcadia Drive.

8. At 11:10 p.m., seven counts of illegal possession of alcohol by a minor were reported to have occurred at Stevenson North. This case was closed by exception.

Jan. 30

9. At 3 a.m., two counts of aggravated battery with a firearm, obstruction of justice, possession of a firearm by a felon, reckless discharge of a firearm, unlawful possession of a weapon without a FOID card and unlawful use of a weapon were reported to have occurred at 1076 Ridge Drive. This case was referred to another agency.

10. At 7:18 a.m., Jennifer Bloomberg, 32, of Dixon, was charged with an in-state warrant reported to have occurred at Stevenson North.

Jan. 31

11. At 5 p.m. Jan. 12, credit card fraud and theft $500 and under were reported to have occurred at the Recreation Center. This case was suspended Jan. 31.

Feb. 1

12. At 2:19 p.m. Jan. 24, criminal damage to government supported property was reported to have occurred at the Holmes Student Center. This case was closed by exception Feb. 1.

13. At 4 p.m., theft $500 and under was reported to have occurred at Grant North. This case was unfounded.

14. At 7:15 p.m., credit card fraud and theft $500 and under were reported to have occurred at the Recreation Center. This case is open.

15. At 12:58 p.m., harassment by telephone was reported to have occurred at Stevenson North. This case is open.
