The following was taken directly from area police and fire department records, or from DeKalb County court records. Anyone mentioned is presumed innocent until proved guilty in a court of law.

At 11:35 a.m., police were dispatched to a domestic dispute between a husband and wife at 1005 Regent Drive Apt. 2. Police found another subject at the residence who had a valid warrant out. Tremell McElroy, 24, was taken into custody as he had a warrant out for a violation of a court order.

At 5:55 p.m., a complainant called to report a suspect was threatening her at 631 Lucinda Ave. The complaint confronted the suspect about sitting in the parking lot. The suspect then threatened to “beat up” the complainant. An investigation was started.

At 6:20 p.m., a complainant called the DeKalb police department from California and said he had a court order saying that his daughter can call him twice a week. He said he has not heard from the daughter in over a week and was worried about her. An officer spoke to the mother of child and she said there was no such court order about their daughter calling her father. The daughter said she is fine and did not feel like calling her father at this time.

At 6:40 p.m., a complainant reported her boyfriend would not leave her apartment, 830 Edgebrook Drive, Apt. 103, and pushed her against the wall. The complainant then informed officers that the suspect left and was driving southbound on Normal Road. Officer caught up to suspect and pulled him over. The suspect said they had broken up and he came from Rockford to get his belongings. He denied any physical contact with complainant. The complainant then called suspect’s cell phone. The officer answered and the complainant hung up phone. This occurred twice. The suspect was released. The officer found the complainant at the curb 20 minutes later with no signs of physical injury. She was asked why she hung up on the officer and she said she did not want to get suspect in trouble. The complainant still claimed being pushed into the wall. Officers told her to contact police if he showed up again.

At 7:00 p.m., a complainant reported a female named “Monica” was yelling and pounding on complaint’s door, 716 N. Annie Glidden Road Apt. 102. The complainant suspects “Monica” is the girlfriend of an ex-boyfriend. The complainant said she wanted to report incident incase further incidents took place.

Between 9:30 and 9:45 p.m., a victim reported her daughter’s bike stolen from the yard, 1427 N. 14th St. A neighbor said he had witnessed the theft and saw the suspect loitering on sidewalk then grab bike and ride away southbound on Fourteenth street. The witness said he yelled but the suspect kept riding. The witness said she saw the suspect in the area before and will call the police department if she sees suspect again.

At 10:50 p.m., Randall Foster was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia at 122 Cotton Ave. He was taken to the police department, booked and later released on bond.

At 11:04 p.m., officers saw a vehicle with rear registration not illuminated and a passenger not wearing a seatbelt driving on at 1000 Spiros Court. The driver identified herself Brandee Ross and passenger identified himself Edward Vaughn. Ross’s name was clear but Vaughn was not in system. Passenger admitted to false name and then identified as Marland Moore. He had a warrant out and was arrested. Odor of cannabis was coming from vehicle and two bags of cannabis were found. Moore was arrested for obstructing ID, FTA-DUI and no seatbelt. He posted bond and was released. Ross was cited for possession of cannabis.
