WHY: First of all, Yuck’s style is full of ‘90s nostalgia without being redundant. My favorite music comes from the ‘90s alternative rock scene, so hearing a new band do that genre justice is really refreshing. The song appeals to my girly side with lyrics like “You can be my destiny/You can mean that much to me,” sung sweetly by frontman Daniel Blumberg. But it’s not all love songs here; Yuck certainly has something for everybody.
