Campus crime blotter for Feb. 23

Dec. 4, 2010

At 12:18 p.m., criminal damage to a motor vehicle was reported from Lot J. A vehicle had its driver’s side mirror broken off and antenna damaged. Pending any further leads, this case is administratively closed.

Feb. 12

At 3:15 p.m., the theft of an unattended wallet was reported to have occurred near a basketball court at the Campus Recreation Center. This case will be administratively closed pending any further information.

Thursday

At 10:11 p.m., an officer while on a building check in Grant South noticed three individuals inside a room with the door open. Alcoholic beverages were in plain view on a table in the room. After requesting identification, all three individuals produced valid driver’s licenses and proved to be under the legal drinking age of 21. All three individuals admitted to drinking the alcoholic beverages and were advised to dispose of the liquor contained within the room. All three complied with the request and were given a verbal warning for possession of alcohol by a minor.

At 10:29 p.m., a case of illegal consumption by a minor occurred at Stevenson North. The student was referred to the Office of Community Standards and Student Conduct.
