Review ranks LGBT acceptance

By Christina Chapman

The gay and lesbian community has become more accepted among universities in recent years, but some schools are more welcoming than others.

The Princeton Review recently rated 351 colleges on their acceptance level of gay groups. There were two lists: the 20 most accepting and the 20 worst.

New York University made the No. 1 spot on the acceptance list. Todd Smith, Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender (LGBT) student services coordinator at NYU, agreed with its position on the list.
