DeKALB — The pet of the week at Tails Humane Society is Brian, a sweet 10-year-old senior cat looking for a warm home and lots of love.

Brian is a sweet, chatty, outgoing cat who loves everyone. Although Brian can live in a home with other cats, he prefers to have all of the attention to himself and be the only cat in the house.

He has sweet golden eyes and a spot on his nose shaped like a heart. He enjoys being able to enjoy the warmth of the sun through a sunny window and loves to snuggle. Brian likes to be able to look outside, but would rather do so from inside of a cozy, warm home.

Brian has FIV, Feline Immunodeficiency Virus, which makes him more susceptible to getting infections, but this will not impact his lifespan as cats with FIV tend to live normal lives.

Brian’s adoption fee has been donated, so stop in and meet Brian, a sweetheart in need of a new home.

For those interested in adopting, visit Tails Humane Society, 2250 Barber Greene Road. Tails will be open from noon to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and noon to 5:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
