Men…

Frustrated and heartbroken: These two words may well describe the mood of the men’s tennis squad after losing two matches this weekend, both by identical 5-4 scores.

The first loss came on Saturday against Western Michigan University.

Dustin Dorbin, Matt Green and Corey Westphal all managed singles victories which kept the teams tied at 3 matches apiece.

The Huskies needed two of three match victories from the doubles portion to pull out the win, but Marty Engel and Matt Green dropped a close 6-3, 2-6, 6-4 decision in what could have been the decisive match.

Next came Sunday’s match against Miami (OH) and deja vous, another 5-4 loss. However, Marty Engel did end his two-match singles losing streak by defeating Joey Fallia 6-1, 6-2.
