The dispensary will be a new addition to the chain of dispensaries owned under nuEra Cannabis, which is one of the largest dispensary chains in Illinois. The DeKalb dispensary would add an additional store to the already existing 6 nuEra stores in Illinois.

DeKalb is expected to get one or two dispensaries within the city. One is currently leasing a building but needs licensing to sell.
