DeKALB – Roughly 100 people gathered in support of victims of sexual assault Tuesday at the Egyptian Theatre for Take Back the Night, an annual protest march and survivor speak out organized by Safe Passage.

DeKALB – Unseasonably warm temperatures swept through the area Tuesday before a strong storm swept across Northern Illinois. The storm was followed by a cold front Wednesday, bringing light snow and heavy winds to campus.

UIC College Prep Wind Ensemble, directed by Justin Boyd, performs second to last after Normal’s Wind Symphony. UIC College Prep’s four music selections were “Fanfare and Fireworks” by Brain Balmages, “Andalucía” by Victor López, “Chorale Elaga’nt” by Elena Lucas and “Escape from Thunder Mountain” by Scott Watson.
