The following was taken directly from area police and fire department records, or DeKalb County court records. Anyone mentioned is presumed innocent until proved guilty in a court of law.

At 9:26 a.m., Greyson J. Sygulla, 44, turned himself in on a warrant for failure to appear—driving with a suspended license. Sygulla was released on bond with a court date.

At 9:35 a.m., Macario Guerrero-Contreras, 42, was taken into custody for a warrant for failure to appear—no license and was released on bond with a court date.

At 1:14 p.m., the police department received an anonymous call. The caller advised a male was outside smoking marijuana. Following investigation, Roger Adkerson, 49, was charged with criminal trespass to real property and possession of drug paraphernalia.

At 4:18 p.m., officers responded to Walmart, 2300 Sycamore Road, in response to a report of retail theft. Following an investigation, Kleopatra P. Karamichos, 18, and Tyrashe M. Brown, 19, were both charged with retail theft and were transported to the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office.
