Physical Plant's flood cleanup applauded I want to congratulate and thank the staff of the NIU Physical Plant for all they have done and are continuing to do in the aftermath of campus flooding. They have been working around the clock to get all classrooms and office space on campus ready for the start of classes. The Art Building was particularly hard-hit, and the crews are continuing their efforts to ready the classrooms for later this week. I am deeply humbled by their dedication and tireless efforts. April 12

1. At 5 p.m. April 6, theft $500 and under was reported to have occurred at Grant North. This case was suspended April 12.

April 13

2. At 12:22 a.m., criminal damage to property was reported to have occurred at Lot D. This case is open.

3. At 10:39 a.m., unlawful use of a weapon was reported to have occurred at Stadium Drive. This case was closed by exception.

4. At 6:30 p.m., burglary was reported to have occurred at Stevenson South. This case is open.

5. At 8:30 p.m., disorderly conduct was reported to have occurred at Neptune East. This case was closed by exception.

April 14

6. At 12:01 a.m. April 8, harassment through telephone was reported to have occurred at Grant North. This case was suspended April 14.

7. At 7 p.m. Feb. 1, domestic battery was reported to have occurred at Stevenson North. Bacarii D. Crocket, 19, of Chicago, was charged at 3:39 a.m. April 14.

3. At 12:01 a.m. Feb. 19, theft $500 and under was reported to have occured at the Holmes Student Center. This case was referred to another agency.

4. At 12:01 a.m. April 8, harrassment by telephone was reported to have occurred at Grant North. This case is open.

5. At 7 p.m. Feb. 1, battery was reported to have occurred at Stevenson North. This case was opened April 11.
