DeKALB – Northern Rehab Physical Therapy Specialists is asking the community for its canned goods from the end of February to the beginning of March.

The physical therapy office will host a food drive from Feb. 19 to March 1 and will donate the items it receives to community food pantries.

Non-perishable items and canned goods with a long shelf life are requested including foods such as sauces, canned meats and fruit, dry goods, rice, beans and pasta.

Non-food items are also requested and can include paper goods, cleaning items and personal care products.

Northern Rehab Physical Therapy Specialists group is a physical therapist owned and operated center for physical therapy services in three locations in Illinois.

The impacted food pantries include the Barb Food Mart, the Spartan Food Pantry, the Genoa Food Hub and the Rochelle Food Pantry. Individuals who donate will have the chance to enter a raffle for a $25 local business gift card. 

Those looking to donate can drop off items at any of the Northern Rehab locations in DeKalb, Rochelle or Genoa.
