NIU track and field swept the podium in high jump among 11 other top five finishes at the Bill Bergan Open.
Freshman Jasmijn Raes was the Huskie that championed the high jump, clearing the mark of 1.73 meters on her first attempt.
Senior Kamiya Dendy finished in second place, also with a jump of 1.73 meters.
Although Dendy and Raes finished at a mark of 1.73 meters, Raes cleared the previous mark of 1.70 meters on her first attempt while it took Dendy three attempts to clear the same mark.
Sophomore Arianna Calloway rounded out the top three for the high jump as she cleared the mark of 1.70 meters on her second attempt before failing to clear the mark of 1.73 meters.
The Huskies also had three top-five finishers in the 200-meter dash in their visit to Ames, Iowa.
Sophomore Sadiya Shamsid-Deen finished in second place in the event. Shamsid-Deen recorded a time of 25.54 seconds.
Freshman Esther Momalife finished just 11 tenths of a second behind Shamsid-Deen in third place, recording a time of 25.65 seconds.
Freshman Sam Huber was the third Huskie to finish the 200-meter in the top five with a time of 26.30 seconds, being good enough to earn fourth place.
Huber and Momalife also earned top-five finishes in the 60-meter dash on Friday.
Huber finished in second place with a time of 7.84 seconds and Momalife finished in third place at 7.88 seconds.
Senior Roshell Rowe earned a fourth place finish in the 300-meter dash with a time of 40.38 seconds.
Senior Olivia Southby earned an eighth place finish with a time of 44.24 seconds in the 300-meter.
Freshman Rachel Dietrich was the first Huskie to finish the 800-meter run, in third place. Dietrich recorded a time of 2:19.87.
Southby finished in fourth place for the event with a time of 2:26.87.
Graduate Bailey Wilk finished in 10th place for the 1600-meter run and recorded a time of 5:21.90.
Junior Ella Bertram finished in sixth place for shot put, with her best throw measuring at 11 meters.
