SA agrees on budgets, tables OCR upgrade

After almost four hours of debate Wednesday, Student Association senators finally agreed on several organization budgets, but tabled a controversial $2,000 upgrade request for the Office of Campus Recreation.

Senators received a memo from Recreation Committee Chairman Dave Burke requesting the budget jump. However, senators argued that the memo came too late for them to make an allocation.

The budget will come before the SA again Sunday.

The weight of the increased budget request is the purchase of an eight-passenger canoe trailer and several volleyball nets, a combined cost of $1,000.
