I would like to commend you for the greek pull-out section in your Jan. 18 edition. It was a fantastic idea that was implemented in a timely and professional manner.

During the past few months there has been some talk that The Northern Star and the greek students have been at odds with one another. Your efforts truly show that the Star is a student newspaper serving student needs.

I would also like to take this opportunity to thank the other university resources that have helped the greeks during the past few weeks. Larry Robertson and Rita Mosure of the Grant Towers complex were more than generous in providing us space to hold our rush informational meeting. In addition, Michelle Emmett and Jeff Cufaude have devoted numerous hours already this semester in helping the IFC get started on the right foot.

I hope that this cooperation among the greeks, the Star and the university continues to develop in order to provide better student life on our campus for the months and years to come.
