Q: What are your reactions to this post-election week?

A: “[It’s] hard to describe because I don’t want to say it’s pathetic, but it’s pathetic and sad,” said Oscar Gonzalez, junior Spanish and communications major.  “I guess I thought we were moving forward, but clearly a lot of us were hiding around the bush. I don’t want to say brave, but someone [who] thought they were brave enough came out and now people are showing their true colors.”
