DeKALB | The Ellwood House Local Lore series will conclude with a view into the Victorian era that sparked Christmas traditions.

Tricia Runzel will discuss the Victorian era Christmas from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. this afternoon at the Ellwood House Museum, 509 N. First Street.

The 2016 Local Lore series is an adult lecture program that featured a new speaker each month. 

The Ellwood Mansion is decorated for the holidays, and guided tours can be scheduled at any time via website or by walking into the Visitor Center. The holiday themed tour will run from Nov. 15 to 30.
