The Division of Information Technology will perform maintenance and updates to the NIU network over spring break from March 13-20.

Although it was scheduled to be the least inconvenient to students, network outages are expected during these updates, according to an NIU news release.

Starting at 5 a.m. March 12, network connectivity may be intermittent across campus buildings and wireless throughout the day. Beginning at midnight and continuing through the morning on March 16, NIU enterprise applications will have brief outages. It is possible that there will be intermittent outages throughout the day as well.

It is recommended that those unable to access the internet or NIU enterprise applications on these days try again later.
