Bernie Sanders, 74, of Burlington, Vt., began his presidential campaign on May 26. He served as mayor of Burlington from 1981-1989, a U.S. representative from 1991-2007 and U.S. senator from 2007-2012. He agrees abortion is a women’s unrestricted right, does not have an opinion on absolute right to gun ownership, disagrees that marijuana is a gateway drug, agrees on higher taxes on the wealthy and agrees with avoiding foreign entanglements.
