DeKalb has established snow emergency routes in effect since 5 p.m. today.

Residents are asked to move their cars into off-street parking. Deep snow and high winds may result in cars being plowed in, according to a DeKalb news release.

Emergency snow routes may be declared on the basis of snow, sleet or freezing rain that accumulates to two inches or more, according to the news release.
