NIU has named Shyree Sanan interim controller, according to a university news release.

Sanan has worked at NIU since 2001 in accounting and business positions, according to NIU. Sanan received the Outstanding Service Award in 2013.

NIU will start a search for a controller “in the near future,” according to the university.
