Friday

• At 12:01 a.m. Oct. 24, criminal sexual assault was reported to have occurred at New Residence Hall East. This case was suspended Friday.

• At 10:06 p.m. April 9, harassment by telephone was reported to have occurred at the NIU Police Department. Brandon Ford, 29, of Sycamore, was charged Friday.

• At 5 p.m. April 16, theft $500 and under was reported to have occurred at Stevenson North. This case was opened Friday.

• At 4 a.m., domestic battery was reported to have occurred at Old Orchard Apartments, 1001 W. Lincoln Highway. This case was referred to another agency.

• At 11:42 a.m., Brandon Bergman, 27, of DeKalb, was charged with criminal damage to property reported to have occurred at the NIU Broadcast Center, 801 N. First St.

• At 7 a.m. April 12, motor vehicle theft was reported to have occurred at the Chessick Center. This case was declared unfounded Friday.

• At 2 p.m. April 8, theft $500 and under was reported to have occurred at Stevenson North. This case was opened Friday.

• At 4 p.m. April 16, theft $500 and under was reported to have occurred at Grant North. This case was suspended Friday.

• At 11:42 p.m., Lawrence Cooke, 21, of Fayetteville, N.C., was charged with an in-state warrant reported to have occurred at 200 N. Annie Glidden Road.

• At 1:30 p.m., attempted retail theft was reported to have occurred at Neptune Central. This case was closed by exception.

Saturday

• At 5:15 p.m. April 13, theft over $500 was reported to have occurred at 700 Garden Road. This case was suspended Saturday.

• At 2:06 p.m. April 14, theft over $500 was reported to have occurred at the Founders Memorial Library. This case was suspended Saturday.

• At 12:14 a.m., possession of cannabis 30 grams and under was reported to have occurred at the Convocation Center. This case was closed by exception.

• At 3 a.m., eight counts of battery were reported to have occurred at Central Park. This case was closed by exception.

• At 1 a.m., illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor was reported to have occurred at the Convocation Center. This case was closed by exception.

• At 2:45 a.m., theft $500 and under was reported to have occurred at the Convocation Center. This case was suspended.

• At 6:30 p.m., disorderly conduct and mob action were reported to have occurred at University Village, 831 Crane Drive. This case was referred to another agency.

• At 7:06 p.m., disorderly conduct was reported to have occurred at Stevenson South. This case is open.

• At 11:20 p.m. Friday, illegal possession of alcohol by a minor was reported to have occurred at Stevenson South. This case was closed by exception.

• At 4:30 a.m., theft over $500 was reported to have occurred at the East Lagoon. This case was suspended.

• At 10:06 a.m., Francisco Gonzalez, 26, of Hanover Park, was charged with possession of cannabis 30 grams and under and possession of drug equipment reported to have occurred at High Meadow Apartments, 1400 W. Lincoln Highway.

• At 10:15 p.m. Saturday, battery was reported to have occurred at Northern View Complex. This case was opened Sunday.

• At 8:15 p.m., Randiss Hopkins, 23, of Chicago, was charged with an in-state warrant reported to have occurred at Gabel Hall.

• At 5:25 a.m. April 6, theft $500 and under was reported to have occurred at Stevenson South. This case was opened Sunday.
