Expect ‘Thor’ to soar at movies

“Thor 2: The Dark World”

One of Earth’s mightiest heroes is featured in the sequel of a great franchise. Chris Hemsworth will reprise his role as Thor, the Norse god of thunder. A new enemy approaches the land of Asgard, and Thor steps up to stop him. But in the midst of the chaos, the unknown crusader captures Jane Foster. Thor realizes he needs help to rescue her. He becomes desperate enough to go to Loki for help. The trailer shows Thor coming to him at his jail cell. He says to Loki, “You should know that when you betray me, I will kill you.”

Alan Taylor is the director of this movie and probably the most ideal for it. Taylor has directed and produced many episodes of “Game of Thrones.” Hemsworth, Natalie Portman and Tom Hiddleston have starred in their share of good movies since the previous “Thor.” The entire cast is talented and will make this movie a hit.

The last appearance of the god of thunder was in the incredibly popular “The Avengers” in 2012. Marvel is producing many more superhero movies, like “The Avengers: Age of Ultron,” “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” and “Guardians of the Galaxy.” The Thor sequel looks deeper, darker and more action-packed than the previous one. “Thor: The Dark World” is a must-see movie.
