David Hedin, Board of Trustees professor of experimental particle physics, gave a speech called Understanding Our Asymmetric Universe Tuesday night in the staff lounge of Founders Memorial Library. Items covered ranged from the Big Bang theory to the workings of subatomic particles and quarks as well as an insider’s perspective of the Fermilab particle accelerator.
