City Police Reports: July 2-July 5

The following was taken directly from area police and fire department records, or from DeKalb County court records. Anyone mentioned is presumed innocent until proved guilty in a court of law.

Tuesday

• A person filed a report of a stolen plow blade from 558 Russell Road and said the blade was stolen in March.

• A man reported he was bitten by a dog at about 9 p.m. on July 1 at 1030 Ridge Drive. The report was faxed to animal control.

Thursday

• At 1:40 p.m., officers responded to a report of fighting on the 900 block of Edgebrook Drive. Marissa A. Cathina, 25, of DeKalb, was arrested for battery. The fight was alcohol related.

• At 10:47 a.m., an officer responded to a report of graffiti at 831 W. Taylor St. The graffiti was photographed and logged in graffiti records.

• At 9:42 a.m., an officer responded to a report of a stolen wallet from a car at 154 Berkshire Drive. There are no suspects.

Friday

• At 6:15 p.m., an officer responded to a report of disorderly conduct at 210 N. Sixth St. The officer discovered the case was a theft and an investigation was started.
