Police Reports 6/11-6/18

June 11

At 12:06 a.m., oficers heard loud subjects in the parking lot of University Village, 820 N. Annie Glidden Road. As they approached, they could smell burnt cannabis. Dalanie Offord, 22, was found to have a FTA warrant for arrest. Offord was taken into custody and processed.

At 11:25 a.m., an officer observed a vehicle traveling eastbound on the 400 block of East Lincoln Highway. The registered owner had a suspended license. A traffic stop was conducted and Nathaniel J. Gordon, 62, was arrested, booked and released on bond.

At 2:16 p.m., a vehicle was stopped for a traffic violation and police found the driver to be under the influence. Deandre M. Eiland, 29, had been drinking and smoking cannabis and was arrested after failing field tests.

At 10:22 p.m., oficers responded to 826 Russell Road in response to armed robbery. Dispatch advised two black men approached the complainant wearing hoods. One of the men displayed a irearm and robbed the complainant of his wallet, phone and money. The men left the area on foot. An investigation was started.

Wednesday

An officer responded to 822 Russell Road and spoke with Danny A. Wallace, 23. Wallace was checked through LEADS and was found to have a valid DeKalb County warrant. Wallace was arrested, processed and transported to the DeKalb County jail.

Thursday

At 10 p.m., a complainant said while driving in the 100 block of East Lincoln Highway, her ex-boyfriend pulled up alongside her vehicle. She tried not to make eye contact but could see him making a face at her. She wanted the incident documented.

At 7:14 p.m., offi cers responded to a woman trespassing. Upon arrival, the complainant said he went to his apartment and Susan J. Ousen, 50, was in the living room. It was confirmed that Ousen was banned from the residence. Ousen was placed under arrest and transported to the countyjail.

Friday

At 2:47 a.m., officers responded to 1130 Loren Drive for a wellbeing check. Dispatch advised a complainant reported drug overdose. The victim was located and assisted. An investigation was started.

At 5 p.m., a victim of burglary at 103 Charter Street said an unknown suspect broke into his work vehicle and stole a generator and hammer drill. An investigation was started.

Saturday

At 6:33 a.m., offi cers responded to 830 Greenbriar Road for an argument between a complainant and her boyfriend. Officers learned the boyfriend lost the complainant’s key to her vehicle and agreed to pay $150 to replace the key. That morning, they got into an argument about the key and she kicked him out of her apartment. The complainant did not want the man to leave the residence until he paid her the money. The man said because of the argument, he did not want to pay. Officers told the complainant he could not be forced to pay her and she would have to take him to civil court.

At 5:07 a.m., an officer was dispatched to Walmart, 2300 Sycamore Road, for a report of retail theft. The complainant said they discovered theft that occurred on May 31. An investigation was started.

At 12:51 p.m., a vehicle was seen traveling east on the 300 block of East Lincoln Highway. The registered owner of the vehicle had a suspended license. A traffic stop was conducted and Jacquelyn Chirico, 22, was arrested for driving while her license was suspended. At 8:09 p.m. while conducting a safety check zone for seat belts, two subjects, Kyle D. Volmer, 22, and Zachary Jendrzejczyk, 21, were arrested for possession of cannabis.
