With a new year comes new music.

Lil Wayne

“I Am Not a Human Being II”

Expected release: Feb. 19

Although he has changed the release date numerous times, Lil Wayne finally confirmed the official release date in an interview with MTV’s Sway. He also said, “I’m gonna tour right after the album drops and I’m gonna tour all year round worldwide.” He clearly shows dedication to his music and fans, as this will be his tenth studio album in 14 years.

Kid Cudi

“Indicud”

Expected release: March

Kid Cudi, a Cleveland hip-hop artist, tweeted that his new album, Indicud, is coming out in March. The singles include “Just What I Am” and “King Wizard.” Some artists he collaborated with for the album are Kendrick Lamar and King Chip.

Black Sabbath

“13”

Expected release: June

These guys still make albums? This late ’60s rock group will not give up.

According to Ozzy.com, “The original Black Sabbath–Ozzy Osbourne (vocals), Tony Iommi (guitar), and Geezer Butler (bass)–…were joined at the sessions by drummer Brad Wilk (Rage Against the Machine).”

The album will be released in June. The band is fortunate to have so many returning members and a relatively young drummer.

Backstreet Boys

Untitled Album

Expected release: 2013

Backstreet’s Back! All five members have reunited to make another album.

“We’re about 75 percent through,” said singer Howie Dorough, according to Rolling Stone. RollingStone.com says the album will be out for the group’s 20th anniversary in 2013.
