Feed’em Soup to offer late night meals

By Northern Star Staff

Feed’em Soup, 122 S. First St., will now be open as a late night weekend restaurant during its Feed’em After Dark benefit service.

The local non-profit will be offering restaurant-style service for a price every Thursday to Saturday night, according to a Wednesday news release. The service will take place from 9 p.m. to 3:30 a.m. on the days listed, and available fare will include sandwiches, breakfast foods, sides and soups, according to the release.

All funds raised through the benefit services will go toward funding for Feed’em Soup’s “pay-what-you-can” Wednesday dinner services. The Wednesday services will go from being held twice a month to every week starting in January. The After Dark service is meant to help the organization save money during the transition to weekly Wednesday services, according to the release.

The Feed’em Soup of the Day service will also be available during the after dark services, allowing guests to pay what they can for a bowl of soup during the nighttime meals.
